Director Ravikumar, who attracted attention with the movie Indru Netru Nalai is quite in the talks.
He directed the movie Ayalaan which was released today with the starring actors Siva Karthikeyan and Rahul Preet Singh.
Even after 5 years from the start of this movie, the team faced many difficulties in completing it. However, the film team has to be praised for not giving up and bringing it to the screen.
A super-powerful substance dropped on Earth from an extraterrestrial becomes available to a money-hungry big business tycoon. Alien comes to Earth in search of that powerful substance from the villain who wants to use it to become the world’s largest source of energy production. Was it taken back by the alien or not? How does Siva Karthikeyan help with that? That is the story of the movie Ayalaan.
Alien-related stories have come a long way in Hollywood. In other words, Hollywood films introduced aliens. But the number of such films in Tamil and the effort to do so is comparatively less. It may be due to the material cost and effort involved in making it. Saying that such films can be made in Tamil too, after a long wait, Ayalaan film team has brought it to the screen.
Even though it is a predictable story, the director’s skill lies in bringing it briskly. The opening scenes of the film are a bit long, but after that the film picks up pace. Sivakarthikeyan’s early acting days of 6 years ago are visible in the film. After turning into an action hero, his old fashioned acting is great to watch.
starring Rahul Preet Singh, She may be used more in this film. Appears in some scenes. Then, he suddenly disappears. He is not seen in the sequence between the scenes. Besides Karunakaran, Yogibabu, Bala Saravanan, Panupriya and many others have acted. Chances are they’ll have a lot of fun with Alien.
It can be seen that the film crew has relied entirely on the graphics. The graphics team has given its due diligence. The film team keeps the fans engaged by giving Alien on screen without any rush. It has been suggested that the alien should be acted with facial expressions and emotions.
Rahman’s music and Nirav Shah’s cinematography give the film comfort. Rahman’s music in the songs is melodious even though it has a melodic tone. Actor Siddharth has voiced the alien named Tattoo. Siddharth’s voice is familiar but appealing to children. Usually in movies, aliens come to destroy the world. But in this movie, the alien coming to stop the man who wants to destroy the earth is a great idea. Shows the reality that the selfishness of humans has been mocked here and there. Director Ravikumar has proved that Tamil cinema can use technology.
The weakness of the film is that the second half drags more than the screenplay, the first half. showing already established scenes on the screen is a bit tiring. The inside-out play between the villain and the hero could have been made more interesting.
