The mini-players auction for IPL 2024 was held in Dubai on Tuesday

Australian star bowler Mitchell Starc has been bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 24.75 crore after a tough competition. Mitchell Starc broke the record of the highest bid in the history of IPL by Aussie captain Pat Cummins and created a new record.
In the ongoing IPL mini auction a few hours ago Pat Cummins was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 20.5 crore. Mitchell Starc broke this record in the 4th set of the auction and created a new history. There was fierce competition between Gujarat and Kolkata to bid for Starc. In the end, Kolkata team management bought Starc for the highest price in IPL history. Meanwhile, another Aussie fast bowler, Josh Hazlewood, has not been bought by any team.

- Gujarat bought Sushant Mishra for Rs 2.20 crore.
- Sunrisers Hyderabad signed Akash Singh for Rs 20 lakh.
- Karthik Tyagi was bought by Gujarat for Rs 60 lakh.
- Delhi team acquired Rasik Dhar for Rs 20 lakh.
Unsold players:
Indian players Manish Pandey, Karun Nair, and Aussie player Steve Smith are not interested in any team. No team bought Afghan player Mujeeb Rahman for His base price is Rs.2 crore. Another Afghan player Mohammad Waqar Salamkhail became a UNSOLD player. Teams did not buy New Zealand spinner Ish Sodhi. none of the team is interested in buying Sri Lankan keeper Kushal Mendis. No team bought England’s star spinner Adil Rashid.
West Indies player Aqeel Hussain became the UNSOLD player. England keeper Philip Salt has not been bought by any team. Another Aussie fast bowler, Josh Hazlewood, was not bought by any team. No team is interested in buying Indian player Sarpras Khan, who has been doing well in the domestic series. Raj Angad Bawa, who led India to win the Under-19 World Cup, was also not bought by any team. The base price of South African player Tabriz Shamsi has been announced as Rs 50 lakh.
