Study about the Rumor:
The central government informed the Lok Sabha that a study conducted by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) found that the corona vaccine was not the cause of the sudden deaths of young people.
Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviar responded in writing on Friday to a question raised in the Lok Sabha that ‘is there a possibility of a connection between Corona vaccine and sudden heart attack deaths?’
It states:
Some of those infected with Corona have died suddenly. However, there is insufficient evidence to confirm the cause of these deaths.
With the fear of sudden heart attack deaths among young people increasing after the corona virus, ICMR’s National Institute of Epidemiology conducted a multi-disciplinary study in 19 states and union territories from last May to August to find out the truth about this.
The study was conducted on individuals aged 18 to 45 years who died suddenly between October 1, 2021 and March 31, 2023 without any co-morbidities.
Corona exposure, vaccinations, post-corona health, sudden death in their family already? Was alcohol or drugs used in the 48 hours before death? Did you do vigorous exercise? Various details were collected and research was carried out.
Corona vaccine is not the reason for death:
It was found that the corona vaccine did not increase the risk of sudden death among young people. At the same time, Mandavia noted that previous exposure to Corona and hospitalization, hereditary factors and certain lifestyle habits increase the risk of sudden death.
