A week ago, a series of bomb blast at a Christian prayer meeting near Kochi, Kerala, has caused shock and excitement at the national level.
With many people who have already left the state of Kerala in contact with the IS terrorist organization, the latest incident has made the security agencies sit up.
Jehovah’s Witnesses held a three-day prayer meeting at Jamra International Conference Hall in Kalamasery, an industrial town near Kochi. On the last day, when a large number of women and children had gathered there, three bombs exploded in succession. If four people died, more than 60 people were seriously injured.
After the news of the bomb blast at a Christian prayer meeting, there was widespread criticism on social media linking it to Islamic fundamentalist organizations. But the commotion subsided after Dominic Martin, a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses, claimed responsibility for the blast on his Facebook page and surrendered to the police.
Accusing that ‘Jehovah’s Witnesses’ are not a good organization and its teachings are treasonous, Martin has stated that he insisted that the teachings of that organization should be revised. He had mentioned in his affidavit that he had taken such a decision because the rules of the organization would not be amended if no one objected.
A Muslim organization held a protest meeting against Israel in Malapuram a day before the bomb blast at the ‘Jehovah’s Witnesses’ Christian prayer meeting in Kalamasery. In that meeting, some of the leaders of the terrorist organization ‘Hamas’ made a video address which caused a great stir. There is a fear that the Kalamasery blast and the connection with the Hamas terrorist organization will turn the state of Kerala into a volcanic field of unrest.
Dominique Martin previously worked in the Gulf States. He said that he learned the method of bomb making through the internet. As many people who left Kerala state are working in various Central Asian countries, there is a high possibility of being in contact with terrorist organizations there. Therefore, foreign political events cannot avoid reflecting strongly and deeply in the state of Kerala.
About Jehovah’s Witnesses
In 1870, a Bible organization was formed in America. After serious Bible reading and study, they did not accept the ‘Trinity’ position of Christianity as Father-Sudan-Holy Spirit as in Hinduism. The organization, like the Jews, accepted only Jehovah and called themselves ‘Jehovah’s Witnesses’ (Jehovah Witnesses).
‘Jehovah’s Witnesses’ miss the system and believe that the world is mired in sin and that only those who follow them can be saved. They do not recognize any country. They will not work together in any country’s army. They
will not sing the national anthem of any country.
This problem arose in Kerala a few years ago. Children belonging to the ‘Jehovah’s Witnesses’ sect were expelled from school for refusing to sing the national anthem. They went all the way to the Supreme Court and argued that it was infringing on their fundamental rights.
Supreme Court Justice O. Chinnappa Reddy, ‘Our culture, philosophy and constitution all teach tolerance. We must not allow it to be diluted. He ruled in favor of the students saying that it is one’s fundamental right to play and refuse to play the national anthem. At the same time, he also insisted on standing up and paying respect when the national anthem is played.
The fact that Hindus are a minority in some constituencies of Kerala state will surprise many people. Even though Muslims constitute 27% of the total population and Christians 18%, they constitute the largest number of voters in many areas.
Many Muslim voters, who until recently supported the Congress-led United Democratic Alliance, have become supporters of the banned People’s Front of India and STBI. The Marxist Communist Party is also trying to attract their votes.
Religion, Marxism, and politics have started to connect with terrorism, which is a sign of an earthquake that is about to explode in Kerala!
