Immigration Rules: Millions of people from many countries including India used to go there for a long time to study in universities in Australia and stay there and work in many leading companies.
In recent times, the number of people who want to move there and apply has increased, making it difficult to find a house to rent in the country. And due to this many infrastructural problems also arose. There were comments in the country’s media that this was causing many problems to the country’s citizens

In this case, Australian Home Affairs Minister Clare O’Neil (Clare O’Neil) announced the new immigration laws.
“As of June 2023, more than 500,000 people have immigrated to the country. The old immigration laws were riddled with loopholes. They were unnecessarily slow and ineffective. Therefore, a major change was needed. The number of immigrants to Australia will be gradually reduced from June 2025 onwards. Admission will be reduced to less than 50 per cent. The English proficiency test in the PTE exam for international students to study in Australia will be made more difficult. Considerations will be tightened when those who have studied there once are applying for admission 
for a second study,” Clare said.
According to current data, there are more than 6 lakh international students studying in Australian universities.
