Sri Rama temple under construction at Ayodhya has received exquisitely crafted wooden doors from a firm in Hyderabad. Ram temple in Ayodhya is set to be inaugurated on January 22 Hyderabad will have its name carved on it for eternity.
Special features of the temple:
The Ram Temple in Ayodhya has received various construction materials from all over the country. Accordingly, the required bells reached the temple from the Namakkal district of Tamil Nadu.
Accordingly, the wooden doors with gold banding were imported from Hyderabad. The private company, which has been making doors for over 100 years, is making 118 wooden doors to cover all the sanctums of the temple.
According to reports, many more doors are ready to be made and 18 9-feet high doors are ready and will be installed in the temple on January 1.
Sources in the know said that after competing for the job, a private company from Hyderabad was awarded the job after proving their mettle.
Earlier, the Sri Ram temple under construction in Ayodhya will be a ‘self-sustainable’ complex with dedicated drinking water and sewage treatment plants, Temple Trust General Secretary Sampath Roy said.
He also said that various arrangements have been made for the convenience of the elderly and differently-abled.
Inaguration of Sri Ramar temple:
Following the judgment given by the Supreme Court in the Ramjanmabhoomi case, the Sri Ram temple is being built in Ayodhya. As the ground floor work of the temple has been completed, the idol of the child Ram (Ram Lalla) will be consecrated on January 21 and 22. The consecration ceremony of Ram Temple in Ayodhya is likely to be held on January 22 while the rituals for the gala event may start from January 17. The treasurer of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Mahant Govind Dev Giri, said that as per the panchang (almanac), ‘Mrigashira Nakshatra’ will set in from 3.52 pm on Monday, January 22, and prevail till 4.58 pm on Tuesday, January 23.
In this case, a press conference was held at the foundation office regarding the facilities to be carried out in the temple premises.
Describing the works, Sampath Roy, general secretary of the foundation said, ’70 percent of the 70-acre temple complex will be set up as a green area. The Ram Temple will be a self-supporting complex with two sewage treatment plants, one drinking water treatment plant, and a dedicated power station.
Similarly, a fire and emergency rescue squad will be deployed in the temple premises. They will use the water they get from the underground reservoir set up for the temple.
The temple complex has an elevator facility and two ramps at the entrance for the convenience of the elderly and disabled. The temple has 392 gigantic pillars. A statue of Jatayu has been installed in Kubo Thila in Ayodhya,’ he said.
