Ranveer Singh’s social media purge sparks a baby buzz
In an unanticipated move, Superstar Ranveer Singh removed all his wedding photos with Deepika Padukone and all his pre-2023 Instagram (IG) content as well. While the move came as a shock to many fans, it initially seemed to be a broader social media management strategy.

Soon after news began to do the rounds about Ranveer’s IG content deletion, the actor soon addressed the issue, refuting all rumours. The actor’s social media management team issued a statement stating, “It’s important to clarify that Singh has simply archived all content predating 2023, including his wedding pictures, rather than specifically deleting them. Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone’s Instagram still retains their wedding photos.”
A few days prior, the duo was spotted on the stairs of an aeroplane headed for their bay-moon trip. Deepika was seen wearing a cosy brown jumpsuit and sporting stylish sunglasses, with a visible baby bump as well.
Fondly referred to as “DeepVeer” by fans, Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot in a private wedding ceremony in Lake Como, Italy, in 2018.
The wedding held as per Konkani and Sindhi traditions was filmed by renowned wedding photographer Vishal Punjabi from “The Wedding Filmer,” who had also worked with Deepika Padukone on the song Kabira in the 2013 film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Kalki Koechlin, and Aditya Roy Kapoor in lead roles with the actress.

The majority of the wedding photos had remained absent from public view until the duo finally presented their spectacular wedding photos and videos on Koffee With Karan five years later.
Ranveer and Deepika are waiting for the arrival of their baby
The duo had previously announced the actress’ pregnancy in February of this year. Amidst rumours and speculations sparked by Ranveer’s IG content removal, the Bollywood star couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh formally confirmed that they are expecting their first child. In a joint post on a Thursday morning, the duo shared an adorable image confirming Deepika Padukone’s pregnancy.

The post also stated the anticipated arrival of the baby in September 2024, enclosed in pictures of children’s toys, pacifiers, and balloons.
In the professional sphere, the actress is currently working on India’s first neo-mythological blockbuster, “Kalki 2898 AD.” Starring Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles.
2023 had been a fantastic year for Padukone, with her witnessing success in Shah Rukh Khan’s (SRK) “Pathaan” and “Jawan.” She will also be starring in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film “Singham Again,” playing the role of a strict lady cop in a pivotal role alongside her husband, Ranveer Singh, who plays the role of super cop “Simmba.”
