On Tuesday, Prime Minister Modi is all set to attend the Parakram Diwas celebration at the Red Fort to mark the 127th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Moreover, he will also launch a nine-day event, called “Bharat Parv” to showcase the rich diversity and cultures of the nation.
PM Modi to attend Parakram Diwas
Prime Minister Modi will participate in the Parakram Diwas celebrations at the Red Fort on January 23 at 6:30 pm. This event commemorates the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, the iconic freedom fighter who is considered to be one of the prominent figures in India’s struggle for independence.
The ceremony will feature a variety of events, including, cultural performances and tributes to Netaji. PM Modi is expected to deliver a speech at the event, in which he will pay tribute to Netaji’s legacy contribution to India’s freedom struggle and the Azad Hind Fauj. Additionally, the Prime Minister will also launch “Bharat Parv”, a nine-day event that will highlight India’s achievements, vibrant diversity and exhibitions.
About the ‘Bharat Parv’
Along with the celebration of Parakram Diwas, PM Modi will be launching “Bharat Parv”, a nine-day extravaganza that will showcase India’s vibrant cultural diversity, heritage and achievements. This event will run from January 23 to January 31 at Ram Leela Maidan and the Madhav Das Park, where several things will be featured. The tableaux display will be featured to reflect the unique cultural histories and contributions of all Indian states and union territories. Also, there will be cultural exhibits like folk art, handicrafts and other things to experience the cultural diversity.
Besides, the Vocal for Local will be displayed for indigenous products, and crafts to support local artisans and businesses. And, the 26 government ministries and departments will flagship citizen’s centric programs, initiatives, and tourism destinations to understand various facets of India’s governance and development, along with cultural performances and food festivals to tantalize your taste buds with delicious regional cuisines from across India.
