Production company “Applause Entertainment” honored Mahatma Gandhi on his death anniversary on Tuesday by posting a series still on Instagram stories.
In the same way that The Crown portrayed the tale of the British royal family, the series will depict the story of Mahatma Gandhi’s life and times.
The man who bears his name is Pratik Gandhi, marking the third collaboration between the director and actor following ‘Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story’ and ‘Baai’.
What the series is about?
As previously said, the series covers Gandhi’s early years, his legal activities in South Africa, and his involvement in the Indian independence movement. It also highlights lesser-known events from his life that had a significant impact on his development into a Mahatma. It will also follow the tales of all of his fellow countrymen and freedom struggle peers, who were instrumental in forming the modern-day, liberated India.
