On Tuesday, the daughter of veteran actor Hema Malini and Dharmendra, Esha Deol parted away from her husband Bharat Takhtani after 12 years of marriage. However, confirming the separation, both of them gave a joint statement.

According to the media agency Delhi Times, Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani released a joint statement, stating that they have ‘mutually’ and ‘amicably’ decided to split up. Further added that they respect each other’s decision and will remain devoted to their children and asked everyone to respect their privacy.
However, Deol and Takhtani were married in June 2012 and have two daughters, Miraya and Radhya. But the exact reasons behind their separation are unknown, there have been rumours of trouble in their marriage for some time.
Trouble in Deol and Takhtani’s Marriage
Esha and Bharat used to post mushy pictures on social media. However, for a while now, there have been less and less frequent mentions of Bharat on her social media, along with, a post on Reddit hinting at their separation.
Moreover, Esha Deol’s solo appearances at events where Bharat was absent. Like, on Hema Malini’s 75th birthday, and Diwali celebration, and did not attend any parties last year. Besides, Esha shared a glimpse of her transformation over their separation and divorce rumours on her social media.

Esha shared a series of photos sporting a stunning new hair color on January 22, captioning it “New Year, New Color”. The picture showcased her new hair colour look, quickly complimented by her fans.
Likewise, she shared a video of herself getting ready for an event on January 29, rocking a chic black pantsuit paired with a white shirt, captioning it “Not Bossy, She’s the Boss” exuding her confidence and power. Further, she shared a cryptic message around the same time that could be interpreted in many ways, including her personal life.
