Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the natural beauty and tranquility of Lakshadweep is mesmerizing.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who went to Lakshadweep on the 2nd Jan for a two-day visit, shared his travel experience on his X page. He has also attached various photographs taken there. “The Lakshadweep is not just a collection of islands. It is a testament to the people and traditions that have endured over time. My trip to the Maldives was an opportunity to learn and grow.”
I am still in awe of the mesmerizing beauty of Lakshadweep and the incredible warmth of the people who live there. I got a chance to interact with people at Agathi, Bangaram, and Karavatti. I thank them for their hospitality.
The Central Government’s objective is to improve the lives of people in Lakshadweep through improved development. The government aims to provide better infrastructure, better sanitation, fast internet, drinking water and preserve and celebrate the local culture. Central government schemes launched in Lakshadweep reflect this sentiment.
Had a great opportunity to interact with the beneficiaries of various government schemes. It was encouraging to see the progress in health, self-reliance, women’s advancement, and agricultural practices. What I heard there is that growth is actually becoming possible.
The natural beauty and tranquility of Lakshadweep are mesmerizing. It gave me an opportunity to think about how to work even harder for the welfare of 140 crore Indians. Those who want to meet and embrace adventurers should add Lakshadweep to their travel list.
