Accordingly, it was informed that people coming to Sri Lanka from 7 countries namely India, China, Russia, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand and Indonesia can get free visa service. And it has been announced that it will be in force till 31st March 2024. It is noteworthy that the Sri Lankan government relies on the tourism sector for a large portion of its country’s revenue.

In this regard, the Tourism Department of the country (Thai Tourism) has issued an announcement, ‘Visas are not required for Indians coming to Thailand for a period of six months from November 10, 2023 to May 10, 2024. Using this offer, you can stay in Thailand for up to 30 days.
12 lakh Indians visited Thailand
Tourists are the backbone of Thailand’s economy. This year only 2.2 crore foreigners visited Thailand from January to October. Through this, Thailand has got an income of 2,567 million dollars.
